Goal

We are aiming to work in line with the WHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer (GICC) and CUREALL framework, ICCI works toward achieving 60% survival and 100% access to care by 2030.

Goal Statement : Equal access to patient centred, holistic care and standardized treatment for all children with cancer and survivors (to ensure optimal outcomes) in India through multistakeholder engagement.

Our Vision

Childhood cancer is highly curable — if detected early and treated well. Yet, many children in India are lost to preventable causes.

ICCI is a multi-partner national initiative working to strengthen India’s response to childhood cancer.

We collaborate with the Government of India, national and international partners, and organizations like St. Jude Global, WHO, ICMR-NCDIR & SIOP to ensure that every child receives timely, affordable & quality care.

Indian Childhood Cancer Initiative

A multi-partner initiative, aiming to strengthen the Government of India's program for pediatric cancer control and towards the 2030 goal of 60% survival 100% access.

Adapting the World Health Organization WHO GICC CURE-ALL technical package strategies to improve India’s pediatric management and control.

To seek mandate and work with the Health Ministry in the development of National Childhood Cancer Comprehensive Management Policy which involves Early Diagnosis, Shared Care, Integrated Pediatric Oncology, Palliative Care across the Public Health Facilities.
