Gold September 2025 : Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Event
Join Indian Childhood Cancer Initiative in raising awareness for Pediatric Cancer.
ICCI is working towards achieving Equal access to patient centred, holistic care and standardized treatment for all children with cancer and survivors (to ensure optimal outcomes) in India through multistakeholder engagement.
Here's How You Can Contribute
- Change your Profile for a Week : Use our Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Image for One week as your Profile Picture on your social media platforms. Send us a screenshot and use the hashtag #ICCIGoldSeptember and tag India Child Cancer. We will feature you on our social media campaign and website.
- Participate in #GoldRibbonChallenge : This year we are aiming to Inspire action and active awareness of Childhood Cancer. Your active participation in our campaign can help a child or a parent to find the right support and information on childhood cancer.
Follow these steps to inspire action through active participation:
- Film the video with Gold Ribbon : For the first step you can use a gold ribbon stitched in the childhood cancer symbol, or use a printed picture of the symbol. Hold the ribbon to your chest and film a short video on Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
- Raise Awareness : In the video, speak about one issue related to childhood cancer that you want the public to know.
- Post It : Share this video on your social media, tagging/collaborating with ICCI.
- Alternative : If you do not wish to post individually, you can send your video directly to ICCI. The team will compile all videos into a collective #GoldRibbonChallenge Reel, which will be shared in the final week of September. If participation is high, multiple compilations will be released.
Remember : Your Participation Matters!!!
Even small actions such as changing your profile picture, sharing a post, or recording a short video can make a big difference. Social media algorithms prioritize collective engagement, so each effort helps ICCI’s message to reach more people.
Your support is invaluable to ICCI’s mission. By participating in these activities, you are not just spreading awareness; you are contributing to a movement that aims to transform childhood cancer care and advocacy in India.
Let us all come together this Gold September 2025 to ensure that every child with cancer has a chance at a brighter tomorrow.
